Long story short, we went out to a club last night in downtown Toronto for a friend's birthday. Money, if anyone knows the place. Anyway, it was quite the blizzard last night so driving was ridiculous.

I usually don't drink very much, but ended up drinking quite a bit, enough to not count how many drinks (the fact that they had any is freaking me out) our designated driver was having. I remember now that she was being fed drinks by a friend of hers we met later, and then dropped off.

Aside from that, I just remember yelling at her to slow down on the 407 highway because she was doing 100 and tailing people in this blizzard.

I feel so stupid right now for not realizing this last night. Idiot could have easily had us all killed and who knows how many others.

ugh.

Thank God something horrible didn't happen, and next time you be the DD. May'be you can keep from getting hammered unlike your friend.

Dude that is total b.s. Does your friend not value your lives? I'd ask her WTF is up with that and why she decided she'd be the DD and yet not abstain from drinking? I'd kick her ass.

edit:// better yet, it is obvious she doesn't care about you and your friends. Drop her immediately. She is no friend.

Ironically, two weeks ago, three people from my office went clubbing.

The DD was drinking.

He ran a red light on the way home and there was a cop sitting right there; he blew a .16. So much for not drinking, eh?.

Luckily, he didn't hit anyone.

He now has to face a DUI charge, loss of license, etc. Dumbass, like your friend.

Btw, since its canada she must be doing 100km (60mph). Even still she was probably going too fast and definitely needs her face shoved in the snow for driving after drinking.

Man...I've been DD and it is a suckers game. Drunk people are not funny when you aren't drunk. Especially when they decide to open the car door and drag their feet on the road at 35mph.

You should beat her repeatedly about the face and chest. If that's somehow wrong, I don't know why. If you had died, you wouldn't have the chance to do that.

Pretty much why I'd NEVER be DD if I was going out. I've been DD a few times when I wasn't going out.

that would piss me off if one of my friends did that...that's the whole reason you assign a DD. Either you guys cut him/her off after one or two drinks, or make sure theyr'e sober the entire night.

especially in yesterday's weather, oy

If I were you, next time you were outside, Id say "Look, its Superman!" and point up in the sky. Then, when she looked up, Id punch her in the throat. Then walk away.

If I had realized she was drunk, I wouldn't have gone with her. And yes there are taxis here.

It was stupid not to do anything, you are right there actually, I didn't use the best judgement in the state I was in. Hence this post about me feeling like an idiot.
