Feeling guilty at work?

Ever have those days where you really dont do anything and wonder
"why am i here today getting paid for doing almost nothing?"
ill take the money but it still makes me feel bad cuz its like ripping off the company or something..

just my thoughs

Not really because if I have nothing to do, it means I'm doing my job right. If I have things to do, then it's because something has went wrong and users are down.

I used to get that too when i was in support at the last place i worked. now im in development of a prototype product and i kinda have to wait for a problem to get solved by other people before i can move on ...

Depends upon the job. If you have a reactionary job where you act upon something, then you sit around until something happens. But, if you have something a little more pro-active where you are supposed to find things to do, then maybe a little bit
