feelen really retarded, how do i get this to work.

bought a dell 8400 that said it came with 5.1 onboard audio. how do i use it. all i see in the bak is mic in and stereo out. is there suppose to be some digital out or do i have to buy some adapter or something? my last comp had a spdif out so i could get 6.1 to my panny reciever via an optical wire. should i just get a chaintech or m-revo sound card? thanks guys.

Hi, Check the manual for the Machine if you have it. The BIOS usually has the ability to convert the three jacks on the back to Right, Middle and Left audio out. Jim
