Feel like I need a new case

Currently have an nzxt phantom 410. Want something more fancy and for better cooling. I'm also planning to get a modular psu so I can have a cleaner look.

Was checking out the nzxt h440. Need some more recommendations. Just bored and have some money to spend :/

Unless your OC is running into temp problems, getting a new case - even one with better cooling - doesn't get you anything. Better off saving the money for the next platform replacement. (Or, looking at your specs, maybe it's time for a 500GB SSD?)

Any time you're swapping components from case A to case B, there's a tiny chance you'll break something else, too, so I'd hate for the $100 case upgrade to turn into a $250 case and motherboard replacement, you know?

I'm waiting until I can find a decent price on a 1tb SSD so I can install everything on that drive and not have 2 other 128gb ssd's in there.

I was thinking of going with an phantek enthoo evolve mid atx case.

I mainly want to clean it up, switch out the power supply for a fully modular one and possibly go with water cooling for the CPU like the corsair h100i v2.

This would give me a cleaner look as right now my case looks like crap on the inside.

I'm pretty happy with my existing components and their performance. I'm not planning a major cpu or gpu upgrade anytime soon.

This may not be for you but I just moved over to an open case and I love it.
Everything is easy to access and anytime I make an upgrade I dont have to move a bunch of junk around. Its extremely cool because heat is never able to build up. And the auto-fans are always running at a low RPM. Most of the time I cant hear anything.

If I had a better desk setup I would use this. I did buy a new desk last night.

I decided to go with the phanteks enthoo evolve mid atx case with tempered glass side panels. Got it in anthracite gray so it matches my new desk.

Also ended up getting a h100i v2 cooler to replace my hyper 212 and a seasonic x850 modular psu so I can clean up the wires and make more room.

I may also go ahead and sell my current gpu and get a 1080ti if I can find one later down the road. But for now I'm just focused on having a nice clean setup.

This is exactly what I'm using since 2014 and the only caveat, is blowing the dust out of exposed slots & areas, at least once a yr..
