Feedback on my upgrade path...need new suggestions

I was going to upgrade a couple months ago and now the Gigabyte mobo I was looking at is discontinued (I think) so Im looking at a diff model or a diff path...any ideas would be appreciated..

What's your budget? Why aren't you buying Core 2 Duo & P35? I'd get this instead if you're on a budget:

You'd later be able to upgrade to a Penryn, or a quad-core with this same mobo.

The RAM is a good choice, but as te suggested, go with the Gigabyte P35-DS3L (for price) or P35-DS3R (RAID and other extra features for a slightly higher price).
Another good CPU choice is the e2160 (retail boxed; run at 3GHz/1333MHz FSB).

I would put my budget at about 350.00. Its a new step for me moving to an Intel chip from socket A etc...good choices guys, thanks
