1. I don't think that you need a new power supply. Your OCZ 520w will be fine for your upgrades
2. Just get another gig of that Corsair XMS to add to your current RAM
3. You definately don't need a new sound card. Save yourself some money
4. Get a new CPU, maybe a A64 X2 3800+. Your current CPU may bottleneck the 7800GTX

I'd keep the Soundcard and keep the PSU. I'd get the vid card (IF money isn't an option), and OC the CPU. Dual core CPU isn't helping game FPS witht the current generation of games.

I would keep the drives as well. Game loading could be minimally improved at best. The fastest Raptors are barely faster loadng games when compared to the fastest Large capacity Hitachi and Maxtors. The Hitachi and Maxtors are more PSU friendly as well as providing waaaaayyyy more storage. But hey, if that .3 seconds extra load time is killing you.............go for it!

Not really any point in getting an FX57. Overclocking a Venice or a San Diego will yield very similar performance levels.

What resolutions can your monitor handle? The move from a 6600gt to a 7800gtx is a pretty extreme one and if you can't run at more than 1280x1024 then the 7800gt would be more cost effective.

If you are going to overclock then you want to keep with 2 Dimms rather than adding more, going for 2x1GB dimms would be a good idea in this respect.
As for HDD the I can't see anything wrong with going for the 74GB raptor, however it is only marginally faster than a good large capacity drive. Which would be cheaper and larger.
