I am about to get the ENLIGHT 7237 Case and was wondering if it was worth getting. I have been searching for a good case under $40-50 for my future Abit KG7 and AMD XP 1700. Is this a good choice for the price range that Im looking in......

definitely an excellent case for the price. i have it, and i love it. make sure you get the 340w version, not the 300w. the only problem you might have with it is that the front of the case has to come off in order for the side to come off, but it hardly detracts at all from the case. go for it!

A great bang for the buck buy. I've probably used more Enlight 7237s than I can count. Large and easy to work with and the ventalation is excellent. It usually comes with one 80mm Sunon case fan and provisions for one more on the back. Not too many cases offer 4 external 5.25" bays as well as 2 external 3.5" bays. All 5.25" bays also mount with convenient drive rails making installation a snap. The case is highly modable and a few creative cuts will get you a 120mm fan mount on the front. The small holes on the front bezel can be enlarged with a simple swiss army knife for more air flow.

One small complaint is the ATX back plate does not provisions for a network adapter above the USB ports. If your mobo does not come with a extra back plate, it's time to bust out the Dremel. Also the same complaint by Pyro, you need to remove the front bezel to get to the inside.

The included 250, 300, 340w power supplies are pretty good quality and are AMD approved. The case can also be had without a power supply for about $25 + shipping if you plan on mounting your own Enermax or Sparkle.

Overall you can't go wrong with the good ole 7237.

built 23 systems using this case... easy to work in... awsome case... had some bad luck with the PS's that it comes with about 3 years down the road they all seem to go bad and one "blew out" the AGP slot rendering it useless and me to have to buy a enw motherboard... just get eth case becuase it rocks for the price of $30 you can't go wrong! ;)

personally, i hate this case. bad experience with older models and what not. just looks and feels rather cheap (the metal). i like the inwin s500 MUCH better. nice and smooth metal, easy to work with.

I'm enjoying the 7237, but I've also modded it a ton. Its cheap price tag makes it easier to take on hobby mods without fear. Installed 2 side blowholes, removed the fan grates, widened the front panel openings and still not finished. I would have been a lot more hesitant cutting up some $100 aluminum case. I agree with the above posters though, I'd try and get the 340W or one without a PSU and get a better PSU to start off with. My 300W was fine for my A7V133, but now its collecting dust since I upgraded to my 8kha+.

I've had 3 of these cases and agree with those who say they are excellent cases. However, for not that much more for a case about the same size, I think that the Antec 600 is a much better case--much better air flow, sturdier, and better fit and finish.
