I built a website for my former employer. Recently, they have been referring people to me to build sites for them. That is the only website I've built for somebody else, but I've fooled around doing personal pages quite a bit.
A local motel contacted me about a website. The owner doesn't really know much about websites, but he seems to just want some information about his motel and lots of pictures. It will probably be all static HTML, but there will most likely be some basic perl and javascript involved.
What should I charge him? Should I charge for the whole project or hourly? Keep in mind I have little professional experience.
