I have recently run into a problem after updating Fedora to the 2.4.22-2135 kernel.

Now alittle while ago (before the kernel update) I began trying to get a 2.6 kernel
working under Fedora. But not having alot of time, I haven't completed.
However, i did the module-init-tools install. And while I never finished getting
the 2.6 kernel working, I never had a problem with the 2.4 kernels I already had.

After doing the update for the 2135 kernel update through yum, when I booted
the kernel, it had kernel panic couldn't load the modules complaining of the insmod
didn't work. Error basically said it couldn't find the old version of the insmod, which is
insmod.old.
However I could still load the 2129 kernel no problem.

Any ideas what is wrong or what can fix the problem.

Thanks alot
