Fedora Linux - Windows XP Home Networking Woes

Both computers are on the same LAN, trying to get the a share on the Windows box from the Fedora box. Both can ping each other, but for some reason the Fedora box can't browse the windows workgroup or successfully connect to the share. So I tried going the other way, configured SMB on the Linux box and tried getting to it from the Windows box. I can browse the Linux box from Windows, I can see the share but when I try to access it, I get a login prompt but it doesn't accept any username/pw that I give it. The SMB service is started. Ideas?

Weird thing is I had it working fine 2 weeks ago until I had to re-install Fedora due to hardware problems. Now I can't get them to network properly for the life of me.
