Fedora Core 4 SATA support.

Hey guys I am building a linux box to run myth tv and planning on using fedora. All i need to buy is a hard drive (already have the rest of the parts laying around) anyway someone mentioned Fedora might not support SATA and the only docs I can find on the subject are from older versions. Can anyone tell me if it supports all SATA chipsets or if not which ones it does?
