is it possible instal fedora core 4 on may acer 4021?

previously i had installed different versions of linux on desktops.....and drivers used to be always a issue?.....acer doesn't provide linux drivers with system...

so , how difficult it is to get sound and lan drivers?..its a 915gm based model, so is there any built in drivers fr these hardware in linux/fc4?

is i t possible to use a generic bloothdongle, wifi and flash disk with FC4?

I used Fedora FAQ and Linux-Laptop last time I installed Fedora Core on my Inspiron 8500 (I couldn't find the 4021 on Linux-Laptop, but you can look for other 915GM notebooks that have Fedora Core 4 instructions). Fedora Core 4 should have built-in kernel drivers for the chipset and integrated graphics. You might have trouble with the wireless adapter if it's not one of the Centrino ones. If you can't find Linux drivers for your WiFi adapter, there's some company that produces a Linux driver wrapper that's able to wrap the Windows driver and use it in Linux (I can't remember the name, just do a search).

I've never used Bluetooth with Linux, but I think there's support out there for it. You shouldn't have problems with your flash drive unless you're trying to use some Windows/Mac supported encryption or storage software that came with it.
