giving it another try.

For some reason the resolution will only accept 800x 600. if i go 1024x768 the screen goes wack. ATI or dell have nothing for video drivers.

what am i doing wrong/ or is there a fix for this?

i found something where the screen was defaulted to a CRT which make sense (15" crt native res is 800x600.

I changed it to a dell LCD with 1400x *** res.

once all these damn packages finish (have to keep clicking YES) ill try that
