Ok....first off let me say that FedEx still hasn't found this package. They are supposedly "looking for it" Yeah about like OJ is looking for the real killer. In the meantime NewEgg has shipped me out a replacement order.

Anyway....I've been expecting another package from LL Bean since Friday. Checked their tracking site on Friday and it said the shipment was out for delivery. So I expected it Friday night. Never came...... Today I check the site and it says "on vehicle for delivery" so I expected it tonight. Nothing so far. Decided to check the tracking site one more time. What does it say "address out of FedEx delivery area. Turned over to USPS for delivery." WTF???

Seriously...I have things sent via FedEx here all the time. Suddenly I'm out of the delivery area? Huh? How did that happen? My house didn't move. I'm still a whole whopping 9 minutes from downtown Tulsa. But now I'm out of their delivery area.

I called FedEx customer service and the phone rep who answered looks up my tracking number. Tells me what I already knew, that it was turned over to USPS. I ask him why, he says "You must live pretty far out in the country." I tell him that no, I live in town and that my house hasn't moved in the month since my last FedEx delivery. He tells me "sorry, there is nothing I can do. The USPS has your package now." Again.....WTF???? I ask him when I can expect my package and he tells me "we cannot guarantee a date. Once packages are turned over to the USPS they are treated as 3rd class mail"

FEDEX PULL YOUR HEAD OUT OF YOUR ASS!!!!! YOU ARE GETTING TO BE JUST AS BAD AS UPS!!!!!

FVCKING MORONS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You have a driver that doesn't know where the F your street is and doesn't know how to use his mapping tools.

Yeah...I'm in a real tough location out here in the suburbs. Why you can hardly see my house on top of the hill above the small lake we live on. I mean it's just the house at the very top of the hill....surrounded by other houses....and it just has a ton of Christmas lights on it, think Christmas Vacation.....I can understand why they couldn't find me......747's try to land here because it's sooooo bright.....yet FedEx can't find a house they have delivered to probably over 100 times......

Drivers change. Some of them are stupider than others. The Express drivers are the only ones that givashit(TM) - they own their trucks and own their routes. The Ground goons in their ex-RPS vans are total dipshits in a way that makes UPS look pwn.

That rant is only too long if you're a rat with ADD.

Sorry to hear that Shiner, but I've never heard of FedEx turning over their packages to any other carrier.

It's funny, I was just complaining at work about the delivery services (Fedex, UPS, DHL) all having their heads up their butts this time of year.

Coupled with the fact that I live in an apartment. With an apartment office that takes and signs for packages, but only if the driver takes it there (About 50 feet away from my building).

They are wildly inconsistent, which is what bothers me. They have all left valuables outside the apartment door now, fedex sometimes takes things to the office, or they just take them away. I've had to drive down to the airport to pick my stuff up, and had the peckerwood fedex guy leave a digital camera outside the apartment 2 weeks ago and leave the note saying authorized to drop off w/o signature. Fvckhead took away my note asking to please leave at apt. office.

Today UPS missed me by about 1/2 hour and didn't leave the laptop sitting outside the apartment(thank God), but they didn't take it to the office either.

They'll try again tomorrow. Probably in the 1 1/2 hours that the apartment will be unoccupied. Fvckers. I think I'm gonna cut and paste this into the like 5 different shipping rant threads I have open in tabs....

Oh....good luck on Fedex getting their heads out of their rears.
