I'm used to Ground and Express where I can pick up my crap at the facility 10 minutes away. Instead, Home Delivery is located 35 minutes away. They aren't open on Monday, and when they were supposed to deliver on Friday, they closed at 2pm according to 1-800-GO-FEDEX.
Great. So I sat at my apartment till 7:55 PM on Friday before I gave up waiting. Then I came back to see that they tried delivering at 7:58 PM according to the online tracking. But clearly they never called my call box. Chances are I would've still been in the garage or even just walking down the stairs and since my call box links to my cell phone, I don't see how they could say customer not available when my cell phone shows 0 missed calls.
Earlier that day I saw a Home Delivery truck and I ran downstairs. The guy told me he had nothing for my unit but a package for the unit next door. He told me to sign and I told them that I'll get it to them because I heard noise out of their unit just as I was walking downstairs. I delivered the package to my neighbor and they thanked me.
I told them to put the package on hold that night and then in the morning (Saturday) I call again and they tell me that after a morning sort they will hold it so I can pick it up later in the morning. Guess what? FedEx delivers AGAIN. I'm out of town on Saturday so that's why I told them to hold it since I can't get to it anyways. I tell the delivery guy that this is my cell and I'm out of town and I'll just go pick it up at the facility. He acknowledges and after I get to my hotel and get online what do I see? An email from FedEx saying my package was DELIVERED. It was signed by some random guy in my apartment complex. I'm guessing the delivery guy saw someone walking in/out at that moment.
Well guess what? I get back last night to find no note under my door or anything. I don't know where my package is. My manager is conveniently not there so I can't find out who "D. Liu" is. I've taped a note on my door since last night saying call me if you signed for my package.
Still nothing. I'm getting very frustrated.
What's worse is this is an Ebay order.
I suspect that the delivery guy is the same as the one who got me to sign for my neighbor's package on Friday. I guess he just trusts everyone else to hand deliver packages for him and not steal them.
