airborne is more likely to leave a $5,000 plasma monitor in a driveway.

LOL they all suck IMHO but USPS is the best of them for me... AirBourne Express got busted around here... got caught on tape by a news crew unloading packages off of a plane and drop kicking them around to each other as they were coming off... rather amusing to say the least....

they suck! they lost my 17" LCD order from dell...
took dell like 3-4weeks to get me another one.

edit.
ohh yeah! Today airborne driver comes along with two huge boxes 19" and 17" Flat CRTs from dell, he wheels them to my house and freaking topples over when he is trying to get it over a bump. I kept my cool and went down and helped but come on!

i ain't having people drop kick my stuff when i could get them hit by sledgehammers by UPS

LoL

Airborne is cheap and fast. No doubt. UPS is expensive, slow. USPS is just USPS.

I won't use Airborne just because a package was delivered to my apartment last week... My door was open, and the screen door was closed. Dude just left the package by the door. Didn't even knock. I was watching him through the screen. Guess he didn't see me. Sigh.

I lost out on one good deal because of the stupid.... No such address thing! No... it was not the first time something was delivered, nor was it the last. More like the driver didn't feel like making his whole route. Airborne as far as I go has the worst record of em all and if I can avoid it I will not use them. If I have to... I am not thrilled!

I have to thank Airborne for my new Dell labtop to replace the one they lost. I do enjoy the free upgrade but won't be shipping any personal items through them.

    I apologize for any inconvenience.
Our records indicate that you have received
this shipment from your neighbor, as it
    was initially misdelivered this morning.

Again, I apologize for any inconvenience this situation has caused.
Please feel free to contact us at customerservice@airborne.com or

Let's see, it was sent on the 14th and finally delivered TO MY NEIGHBOR this morning! And this after 3 phone calls to Airborne and 2 emails. :|

Never had this problem with FedEx/USPS (as of yet at least) so from now on, no more Airborne for me!;)

Dell used to use Airborne to ship stuff to our office on a fairly regular basis. About a year ago some orders from Dell would come in but not be complete. We'd call Dell and they'd tell us the shipment had been signed for, all pieces accounted for, but we hadn't still hadn't received everything. One time we ordered a couple of laptops, 3-4 I'd guess and we waited and waited. They never showed up; we checked on the Airborne website and it showed they were delivered. We were like WTF?! Where are they? So we called Dell who called Airborne and started an investigation. It turns out the "regular" Airborne delivery guy had been skimming deliveries from customers on his route and he was already under investigation but were continuing to let him run his routes!!! He would record delivery for packages that were never delivered and put in the real names of people he delivered to. Needless to say, Dell replaced our missing orders and we requested that Dell never use Airborne to ship anything to us again. They only use FedEx and other freight carriers to ship to us now.

I had the Matsushita CD-RW in my ThinkPad take a dive and IBM sent out the replacement via Airborne (love IBM's 3 year warranty, I've still got about a year left). They shipped it Tuesday afternoon, it was here by noon on Thursday. I sent the old drive back to IBM and the tracking said it got there and was signed for in under two days. I love Airborne, but they're hard to find sometimes.
