Fedex Sucks - How does a package make it here from China 3 days quicker than from Calif?

Ordered two items from Apple on Nov 9th - Free Ground Shipping

Both ship the same day, the 9th, one from China, the other from California, both going to FL

The one from China arrives today, the one from CA arrives on the 16th..

WTF.

In case you didnt know, FedEx contracts out their ground shipping while handling all other forms themselves. I have had HORRIBLE experiences with ground. These have resulted in a few complaints to FedEx and one filing for damaged goods. IMHO, FedEx contracting out their shipping is going to tarnish their name.

So this is Express/Ground? Probably went to the IN hub as it always seems that way. Then Fedex Ground all the way from there???

Fedex contracts for ground because they were originally an express logistic company.

They bought some company back and re branded it to Fedex Ground

FedEx Express in the U.S. rocks -- coast to coast in 3 days. I have used FedEx Express many times, no probs. I've never tried ground though...
