What can I do?

The Amazon website & USPS office said it's delivered Sep. 12th, I never received it. I went to USPS office and talked to the clerk & postmaster, they checked and print a record showing it's delivered, told me there is nothing they can do.

The postmaster later told me he will call me next day, yet he never did. Went in today again and still get same answer - it's delivered - per their record.

It's an order sold by third party but fulfilled by Amazon, and Amazon used the Fedex Smartpost + USPS service. So basically four parties are involved, who is responsible? I don't want to lose this $27 order!

I'd talk to Amazon, they're pretty good about customer satisfaction.

Don't contact Amazon, that would actually solve your problem. I suggest posting in other forums for more advice.

I'm fairly certain no one else on this forum is smart enough to give you the proper answer. Call Amazon CSR.

Whatever you do, don't call Amazon. The rest of the people here are trying to trick you.

Dude, just call Amazon. I had an order this last week where only part of it came in. I sent an email through the site and no questions, no hassle and no problems. They refunded and even paid for next day shipping on the item to get it back out to me. Amazon customer support is top notch and why I'll keep giving them my business. I've never been hassled or had a problem with Amazon when something doesn't show up.

I would blame ebay as they stole your package and listed it for auction that I am bidding on.

You guys are funny. I'll call Amazon and see what happened.

Searched the net and everyone said Fedex Smartpost is stupid.

Contacted Amazon and was told:

"Sometimes a carrier will accidentally scan a package as "Delivered" when it's actually still on the way. When this happens, the package is usually delivered within the next few business days." Told me wait until 19th and contact them again.

Will see.

I had a Monoprice order that was shipped via USPS list itself as delivered, but I didn't have it. I thought the mail carrier put it in the wrong mailbox (I sometimes get my neighbor's mail). A few days later, I found it in my mailbox. I had it shipped via the 3-5 day shipping option, and it took almost 7-10 days to get it. :|

That's because USPS is too busy delivering reams of junkmail to get actual legitimate mail right.

7 days after the supposed delivery date and still not getting the item, Amazon agreed to refund the money.

A great company that's willing to make things right.

Yea, the one time I didn't get a package amazon refunded my money. Lasership is such a POS shipping company btw. Pretty sure they lost it and marked it delivered since I have serious doubts someone stole it from inside my locked apartment complex.

My one bad amazon shipping experience was I paid extra for next day, and the item arraived late, do to problem with the UPS plane. Amazon says they will refund the extra fee for next day if it is late, but they never did. I found out a while later that such refunds are NOT automatic, but I was suppose to contact amazon and notify them. IMHO it should have been automatic.
