Thats a shipment from Newegg to me.

I live in a Condo, I belive its called. There is a front door to the building, then just stairs to each of the four levels, with 4 apartments per level.

You need a door code/key to get in the front door.

at 11:15am (I was asleep) there is a call on my phone from the box downstairs, presumably from the fedex guy trying to get inside.

On the front door of my apartment I have a notice to fedex saying I refuse shipment.

FedEx says they delivered, but no package at my door. called Fedex customer support number, all they let you do over the phone is check rates or track a shipment.. NO option to talk to a live person.


Should I just wait a day and see if the package gets re-entered into their system? or should I try to file a claim that the package was never delivered or stolen?
 
I did choose the tracking option.


It told me to say the tracking number, I did, it said the package had been delivered.

No thats when you just start saying "OMGBBQ..." over and over. the system will give up and direct your call to a REAL person. My girl has a accent and most systems kick her to a real person.

something doesnt fit. You said you "refuse the package"? not something like "I will pick up from the station" or something?

If no sig. required, fedex is not obligated to take it, they can leave it there.

They said the guy scanned it as delivered, then read the refuse delivery notice, and took it back to the delivery station. Its on its way back across the country. Woohoo! Newegg refund here I come.


I ordered it at 1:45 at newegg, I tried to cancel at 2:30 (45 minutes later) but they said it was allready on the fedex truck. DAMN they are good 🙂

refuse delivery is a fedex service where they ship it back to the supplier free of charge.
Newegg uses it extensively as their return service. 😛
