Had this happen twice with FedEx in the past 6 months. I have everything delivered to my work, and there are only 10 of us here. When I saw that the package had been signed for, I noticed the name was of no one here at work. I had to wait till the next day in order for the customer support reps to be able to see what the address was. Turns out they had delivered it just up the road, luckily with a car dealership that we do business with. The second time FedEx did it, they called me right away to let me know.
When it happened the first time, FedEx offered to go pick it back up and deliver it correctly that same day. Should work the same way with you I would think.
