I've called Friday, the second I got a tracking# from newegg for overnight delivery (funny, 5th time they couldn't rush my order on Thursday even though they had a day with the order), then Saturday and Sunday to reimphasise the importantance of holding my package at the sort facility. Friday they said they couldn't guarantee anything and to call back later on in the weekend, so that's why I called twice more. I take the 45Minute drive out to the facility only to be told "Ahh...Actually, it's on the truck waiting to be delivered". HAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA

HAHAHAHAHAHAHHAHAHAHAHAHHA

You're kidding me, right? Nope. How bad must your communication within the company be if something so simple can't be done? I'm more pissed that I wasted my drive out there.

Oh, and for anyone wanting to flame, the reason why I need to pick it up is that I no longer live at the apartment my CC is listed to (I just transfered apartments due to roommate problems...and I wouldn't trust them with the valuable goods being that they are cock-addicts.). I just moved out 2 weeks ago and haven't gotten around to changed the address.

Luckily, I have to give FedEx's CustomerService credit as they have been rather helpful and sympathetic. I did demand that the package be delivered within the hour, and stated if that made the rest of their packages an hour late, that's fine because they already wasted more than an hour of mine. The Customer Service Manager totally agreed and is on it right now.

what happened between the time you called twice more and the time you took the drive?

i can understand why you'd be pissed for the drive, i'd be pissed too. but im wondering if they told you the package was there, or if you just assumed it was there.

they do have a lot of packages to deal with, gotta remember that.
