FEDEX home delivery

I had an important package that was supposed to come today... I woke up around 1 and watched TV/ate breakfast and then at like 2:30 I went to check my mailbox downstairs (apartment)
On the door was a door-tag thing saying that they attempted to deliver and that they need a signature. I went downstairs anyway and the office said they received no packages for me
I checked online and they said they attempted to deliver at 1:30, but I don't remember that.. I did take a shower, but it was quick and I think it was earlier than that

I can't call fedex because I don't have a phone (is in the package), so I asked someone else to call and see what is up. They said they can't redeliver today and that there is no where I can go to pick up the package.

They don't deliver on Sunday or Monday, so I'm out of luck until Tuesday? THIS SUCKS I need a phone... anything I can do?

Nope. If it was Tue-Fri you could pick it up in the evening. The best you can do at this point is ask them hold it and pick up the next business day, which is Tuesday.


You might be able to go down there Monday and convince somebody to unlock the gate, let you in, and go find your package.

Because they added Saturday delivery. This way their drivers get normal 2 day weekends.

Its makes more sense to deliver on Saturdays (when most people are home) and lose Mondays.

you should be able pick it up on monday if the home service shares a terminal with ground. Most likely they do and there is someone there who can track down the package for you. No one is there right now to pick the package from the driver when they return, and home is also not required to return to the terminal after route, so they may not be back at the terminal till tuesday morning. most likely you will not see it till tuesday. Will you be there to sign for it tuesday?

they have a 1800 number use a payphone and try and get someone to redeliver or if you can pick it up at the depot.

explain you were home waiting and no one rang the bell or what not
