Fedex gurus, come on in!

I'm expecting a pretty urgent package tomorrow, that was delivered today via Fedex Standard Overnight. About 15 minutes ago, my package tracking was updated, saying "Shipment exception, delay beyond our control." This was at the LA hub, en route to Princeton, NJ, which I'd assume would connect through NYC?

I called Fedex, and they said it'll still arrive tomorrow, but I'm skeptical. It was posted at 8:40PM PST, so whens the cutoff for packages to make it the next day across the country?

Thanks!

Edit: Forgot to say that the tracking page still says it'll be delivered tomorrow. Should I be worrying?

So what's in it?

A set of earphones that I plan on using for a flight I'm taking tomorrow night. I really don't want to have to spend a trans-atlantic flight next to a screaming baby 🙂.

So how did it go?

It would connect to the Edison or Newark NJ Hub I forgot

Forgot to update 😛. It came through Newark, then through Hamilton, like it always does, and came right on time, and was delivered at 11:50AM. Great service from Fedex, once again 🙂.

Man that scene cracked me up.

The flight got pushed back to the 19th, but it's actually to Nice, France, and then I'm flying back from Heathrow on the 4th of September. Here's to hoping that I can use my iPod on that flight by then!
