At local FedEx facility

I called and the lady said she had no idea why it isn't on the truck being delivered.

Has this happen to anyone else?

What are the normal reasons why it would not be delivered on the scheduled delivery date? Did the driver forget?

It is my Logitech Z5500 speakers from Amazon.

They know when you really want stuff, so they "lose" it for a few days. One time I had a package go on a tour of California, north and south, before it landed on my door step.

At least it didn't go across the country. Had a package last week go from Los Angeles to me in SF.. and instead of being delivered to me, it goes off to New Jersey.

I think we need a FedEx/UPS/US Mail forum for these threads.

There certainly are enough of them.

BTW, OP, wait anther day before you get worried.

So, how did it end with the CSR? Times I've had any kind of issues, the CSR sends a message to the manager where the delivery is coming from to contact me of the status.

if you paid fedex saver or w/e they will purposefully hold your package an extra day to meet the 3-5 days, they want to be rewarded... aka if you wanted it today you should have gone next day air or w/e but if your on saver they can hold the package to meet the time requirement, its stupid i know.

btw your driver doesn't load the packages, a guy at the hub does that... also what was the scheduled delivery date today? sometimes it gets in late from air and they hold your package for the next day.

I paid for 2nd day air and it was shipped out on Wednesday. So Thursday, Friday, weekend, it should have came today. Oh well. Someone will be calling me hopefully tomorrow.

Fed-Ex here in Spokane doesn't deliver to homes on Mondays, but they do on Saturday. Maybe it's the same where you are.

exactly more than likely the package was shipped via Home Delivery even if it's actually a business.

Sometimes, if your package is one of the last ones past 5PM, the driver will get lazy and do the run the next day and claim "delivery attempt failed" as if they had actually knocked at your door and really tried to give you the package.

Worse yet, if you live in an apartment complex with a gate, oftentimes they'll just say screw it.

That happened to me once with some memory sticks. It looked like it just sat there in the FedEx station. I couldn't understand why it was delayed. Finally, I saw that it was on a truck to be delivered. On that day, as I left for work, I noticed some contractors doing work on a neighbor's house. I didn't think much of it.

At work, I logged onto FedEx's website and noticed that it said the package was delivered on my front steps. Then I thought about those contractors and I hoped that the FedEx guy didn't drop it off right in front of them.

When I got home, I didn't see any package on my steps. I really think one of those contractors stole my package. That's the first time I ever had any problems with stolen packages. I was mad.
