FedEx delivery on Saturday??

I paid for 2nd day delivery thru Fedex yesterday. Will it show up on Saturday or do I have to wait till Monday? I know for overnight to Saturday you must pay the extra..

You have to pay extra for any Saturday delivery.

Then what is the point of paying for 2nd day delivery on a Thurday then? Just to give away the extra cash?? I really hate FedEx by the way..

Well, it's not their fault. You chose the shipping method. I always take the weekends into consideration when I'm ordering next day or 2 day service. You probably could've gotten express saver for cheaper and still got it on Monday.

It was thru Newegg, I only had so many options.. I purchased a mobo and CPU at the same time and the mobo arrived today and the cpu is listed as still being shipped.

And I lied, I placed the order Wednesday night, I'm not all together tonight. lol

its not fedex's fault that you don't know how their terminology and rate structure works.

if you didn't go 2nd day, you would get it wednesday or later

Then why isn't that listed on the stupid website for Newegg or any other online vender.. I guess I'm calling Newegg... It is probably there fault in the end .. Why can't everyone just use USPS Priority..

No Delivery on Saturday or Sunday. FedEx Does not ship to P.O. Box.

newegg doesn't offer that option.

I think sometimes they'll let you pick it up at the terminal on Saturday, but I don't remember what year it was.

Most companies, like TCWO for example, you just call them and ask and they just stick a Saturday Delivery label on the box and charge you the extra $10.

Then again, Newegg has no real phone staff. They have no sales staff or tech support staff or even a shipping manager with an extension. They have little more than damage control if a customer gets pissed off about wanting to return a video card past 30 days. I'm not faulting Newegg for this, so don't take it as a slam. It's their business model and it keeps the overhead low.
