My stuff from newegg was suppose to be all here....2 of the 3 packages arrived, 1 package said it was delivered when in fact it wasn't and the funny thing is the tracking info online said I have a "waiver on file" so the person can leave the package on my doorstep, when I don't even have one...what a maroon. Now I can't finish my build coz one lazy and probably st0ned delivery guy/gal misplaced/lost/stole my friken package.....went to FEDEX office this sat to track the person and package down. Now I guess this guy is a "Doug" from ...that comedy show (i don't usually watch it).... usually shows after "everybody loves raymond" ......I just hope it was just misplaced.... I'd hate to go through claims and cancelling the credit card charge....
Anybody experienced the same thing? What tips can you give?

call fedex immediately, explain to them that you do NOT have a waiver on file and if there is one for your address it is probably for the previous address. If they do not want to deal with you call newegg immediately afterwards, and they'll help you out.

I really doubt its the Fedex delivery guy's fault. They privately own the truck and get the route from Fedex, so most of them don't want to screw with THEIR customers. Who the fvck is "Doug"?!

Um... no?

At least up here FedEx owns their own trucks and hires drivers hourly. As does UPS and Airborne. Might be different around you if the nearest FedEx depot is like 3 states away I guess.

I had a newegg order sent via fedex and they actually delivered it to another apartment and have it signed.

I was boiling pissed and wrote to Fedex.
They replied saying that this situation is not typical and just apologized. sigh..

Of course, so happened that the package was sent to my friend's apartment and he too was curious to why it was sent to me and gave me a call.
Picked up my package down the block... oh well.

Did you find out exactly what address it was delivered to?

Several years ago I ordered a laptop from Gateway and it was delivered by UPS to the wrong address.

Tracking # came up delivered and I panacked when it was not at my place. Turned out it was an Air Con business down the road and they had ordered a Desktop system too. The silly driver thought they got that small package too. Gurrrrrrr was able to look up the guy name that signed for it and called him and got the package.

6 months later my roomates daughter stold it and sold it for 500 worth of Herion

Thats pure BS. As long as the driver has downloaded his tracker which is required before they leave, they can tell you where it went. Don't ever let Fedex talk you out of something like this cause they'll just keep pushing you off and off over and over again. I deal with them on pretty much a daily basis so I'm used to their crap.

Even though they're better than UPS, its not by much.

Newegg has exceptional CS. If fedex doesn't help call newegg, they will help. One time I ordered the wrong motherboard (completely my fault) I called CS and the rep told me just to refuse the package they will take it back no charge and my new motherboard will be on the way.

What's up with FedEx these days? I just had mine took a long detour from City of Industy to L.A., to Fort Worth, and then back to L.A. Hope I get it by tomorrow
