I order new components for my system and my last piece I need is my vid card shipped FedEx saver on Friday from Newegg. My last FedEx saver from Newegg that was shipped on Friday arrived on Tuesday, and it was a much larger order. I came home from the lakes today to find I didn't have my vid card. I really want to finish off my system. I couldn't find whether or not FedEx delivers on holidays, so I thought I'd post here? Does anyone know if they do? I believe UPS does...

Damn, I almost had to work until 5pm, but I got it off. Couldn't you guys just work till then too? Hehe. Aw well, I probably wouldn't have gotten to put it in until Thrusday morning anyway. Another thing I gotta say is that, not counting this vid card order, I had 2 FedEx Saver orders, 2 UPS Ground orders, and 1 2nd Day UPS order (w00t go Crucial). In comparison between the 2 FedEx Savers and the 2 UPS Grounds, the FedEx arrived both in 2 business, and the UPS arrived one in 3 business days and one in 4 business days. Also, the FedEx arrived around noon both times while the UPS was after 5pm both times. FedEx was also in better condition, but UPS wasn't that bad. FedEx all the way as long as Tom Hanks doesn't open any of my packages.

HAHAHAHAHA I watched that movie and I dont want to jump seat anymore :) Oh and just as a plug for fedex express saver is supposed to be 3 day but we will deliver it when it shows up. If u look on the pkg it will have the due day. I order from newegg and 99 percent of the time I get my stuff a day early. Just dont always plan on it because sometimes it actually takes 3 days.

I ordered from Newegg Thursday... FedEx Saver... It shipped Friday, and I won't have my stuff until Thursday. Not that this is bad for Fedex, UPS is doing quite worse (I am building a new comp). My UPS package took 5 days (including weekend) to get from CA to KS... And it's still not even here in Iowa yet.

This has been the slowest I've ever seen either UPS or Fedex Deliver. My 2 day Crucial order took 5 days, or 3 days if you don't count the weekend, to get here...

I'm generally pissed about the whole deal, because I think I should be building my new computer now...

But oh well. FedEx has always been much better than UPS for the time it takes and also, how good of shape the package shows up.

The US Post Office delivers some special delivery and Express mail even on holidays. For small items they are getting to be a useful option. Here in Alaska we are stuck with a $10 surcharge by both UPS and FedEx. This puts the minimum for delivery of a stick of memory up near $20. I just got charged $23 for shipping on an SCA to 68Pin adapter that couldn't have weighed 2 ounces.

Well I ordered two things at about the same time from each other from mwave.com similar to newegg.com. One item came in three days exact, and then the other item took about five days. It just depends on FedEx. Check your tracking number, they're tracking numbers are very accurate, not like USPS!
