This is not bitching about FedEx, simply me having a chuckle over the package sitting there for two days just because they dont "need" to deliver it before tomorrow:laugh:

Yeah, that is pretty silly. Why not just deliver it ahead of time? It's not like it costs them anything extra and it's a good way to keep your customers happy.

They have a schedule of what things are delivered on what day. That would be my guess, and its what keeps me from cursing every time I see that.

because then nobody would pay extra for the faster rate. they can be too fast for their own good

I agree i hate it when they will sit on a package when they can dilever it.

well it'd be good for people who won't before the delivery date, so their package won't get stolen.

I have discussed this particular issue with a UPS driver....why would they sit on a package for days when they could just get it out of their possession hence not their responsibility. It wont cost them any extra to deliver it early. His response was pretty much "thats the way it is".
