Fedex blooper? Reship?

I RMAed my ram, and they sent me a tracking number. I decided to see if it had hit Atlanta yet, and saw this:

Notice, it left Oakland, CA, went to Memphis, TN, then went back to Oakland, CA? Is that just an error? Or would there be some reason they'd need to send it back?

There shouldn't be 2 boxes though, its just two sticks of ram...seems they'd put it in one box.

Yeah probably a data-crossup, a mistake. The box is probably still sitting in Memphis, or is on route to it's next destination and it just hasn't been updated.

If it were two packages you'd have two tracking numbers. And you're right, since it's just RAM it wouldn't be two.

That's just a flaw of imaginary time. There is no begining and no end thus it never left Oakland but still arrived in Memphis only to never have been in Memphis at all.
