Probably looking to destroy his phylactery.

Apparently it is (unsurprisingly) about Rudy Colludey's attempts to dig up/fabricate dirt on Biden in Ukraine. If the feds are willing to raid a lawyer's personal residence, much less the personal residence of a former president's lawyer, they clearly think they have him.

Who is Trump's current lawyer? If I'm that guy I'm watching my back as of Trump's last two personal attorneys one was sent to prison and another looks to be headed there.

Rudy, you dumbass, if you're going to commit crimes to help your guy win you have to make sure they are good enough crimes to make him win so he can corruptly protect you!

Well, shit... :D

Please report on what they find in his medicine cabinet. The public has to know what was dripping from his hair. That was a fashion felony if I ever saw one.

I'd bet money they'd find some Viagra as well...

DOJ wanted to issue a warrant earlier but... you know why that didn't happen.
Kind of amazing that basically everyone just accepts the fact that the previous attorney general blocked federal law enforcement from investigating what appears to be clear evidence of widespread criminal activity by the president's lawyer on his behalf.

Like, that's really bad.

Imagine this. This was a Russian disinformation OP, amplified by traitorous Americans.

Anyone who wasn't an imbecile knew his activities over in Ukraine were extremely shady and that the Senate should have investigated the matter.

I'm seeing reporting that the NYPD is now going up to his apartment. I wonder what the deal with that is as New York's investigation into Trump and co. is a totally separate thing.

Does this mean they’ll LOCK HIM UP, LOCK HIM UP, LOCK HIM UP ??? ;)
And... why isn’t Trump locked up? They finally got his taxes and taxes were the big kahuna. Did THAT fizzle too?

I think this means Trump is closer to running in 2024. Only way to forestall the numerous investigations.

A judge would not sign off on this warrant unless they had some really good evidence. From my understanding this means Giuliani is in very serious jeopardy of going to prison.

Building financial fraud cases takes a lot of time so no, it hasn’t fizzled. Last I heard they were trying to flip Trump’s CFO. If that happens Trump is in deep shit.

Nunes had a different angle on it. Guess, where that came from.

It’s too late for that. Whatever investigations are going to happen most of that’s going to be done long before January 2025. Trump’s only chance to avoid them was winning in 2020.

It depends on when the investigations end, he gets indicted and he goes to trial. I could see him trying to run for President during a trial and/or using that as a reason to stall the trial.
