Normally I don't have a problem with FedEx but they have really pissed me off on my latest order from NewEgg. My CD burner died last weekend so on last Monday morning I bought a replacement from NewEgg. It shipped out on Tuesday and made it to Fort Worth Wednesday morning. Since then it's been sitting there with a notation of "Held at Fort Worth Sorting Facility" on the tracking page. I called them today to ask WTF was up with it sitting there and they said it was because NewEgg paid for 5 day shipping. 5 days meaning 5 business days of course NewEgg has never done that!!! The shipping is the same they have always had and I normally get packages within 3 days. I asked the FedEx CSR when I could expect my package and she said it would be Wednesday of this week. I let her know that would actually be 6 days and she said it wouldn't because they don't count anything shipped after noon EST as being shipped on that day. WHAT?? I think someone dropped the ball on this one. I expect this kind of crap from UPS but not FedEx

and fedex/usps/ups/airborne express are only human! they make lots and lots of errors!

Sounds like someone entered the wrong shipping information on that package. Just remember we are all humans and we do make mistakes every once in a while.

I realize people make mistakes. I guess my major problem with the whole thing is the ridiculous idea that they can't deliver a package early. Seems stupid to me.
