“There will be others who say, Stephen Colbert, what will you do with the unrestricted super PAC money?” Mr. Colbert told reporters after the F.E.C. hearing. “To which I say, I don’t know. Give it to me and let’s find out.”

Mr. Colbert’s pursuit of a political action committee was part of a skit on his show in which he sought to mock the Supreme Court decision, Citizens United v. F.E.C., which allowed unlimited amounts of corporate donations in campaigns.
This deserves a Colbert Bump. I predict mucho lulz in the near future.

I'd turn the tables on him and have the FEC force him, by rule of law, that he can't speak, be on the air or any broadcast within 30-60 days of an election and also that the PAC can have no expenditures or produce anything on the air for the same..

Because if he's against the CU case, that's what he wants. Make him eat his own libtard opinions and make him suffer.

Does that apply to Rove as well?

I don't believe in limiting free speech like Colbert and libtards do.

You don't even know what free speech is. You just know what insanity is. Purchasing a lawmaker is not a free speech issue. However, making a law to disallow a group such as a union to collectively approach the bargainning table does violate their free speech (something I know you're against). Interesting how warped your mind is.

*Taps sarcasm meter. Tosses it out.*

He's forming this PAC to showcase its absurdity and demonstrate what he is able to legally do under the law, not to take advantage of a law he opposes to boost candidates.

My guess is that he'll probably use the money on crazy candidates that have no shot (like himself).

I hear Sharron Angle is looking to run again. Maybe "I'm NOT a witch" Christine O'Donnell will make an appearance.

You 'neckhurt'? I'm going to assume you hurt your neck getting your head that far up your own ass.

Colbert is a satirist. He enjoys all the speech he can get.

Screw that, if we're going for crazy how about that guy from the "The rent is too damn high" party! Or that unknown that inexplicably won the Democratic primary in what was it, South Carolina?

Likely any candidate who makes it through the Repub presidential primary... anybody Spidey would favor.

Maybe we'll see a Jon Stewart PAC, too. The two of them should have a marvelous good time with the desperate absurdities Repub candidates will be spewing forth.

Like this, from Michelle Bachmann, the newer & nuttier Sarah! doll of the Right-

Put a moratorium on the entire income tax for one year for every citizen in this country and watch this country take off.

Spidey probably creamed his jeans when he saw that...

I still like the 9 year old John Q. Adams was a major player with the founding fathers myself.

Why is it conservative women know nothing about history?
