I have found the Linksys BEFW11S4 for $75 and the Netgear MR814 for $50.

The better buy (featurewise) is?? Perhaps there is a better wireless router in this price range? Comment away!

Thanks in advance guys. -Antoneo

I think I tried the MR814 before using the BEFW11S4 and if I remember right, it was slower and cut bandwidth some.

I liked some of the features on the netgear. Remote administration from a specific IP, dyndns client built in, and a nice interface.

Most of them are basically the same.

However it does 11/22Mb/sec. so with the right Wireless Client you may get slightly better performance.

Barricade Turbo 11/22 Mbps Auto Sensing Wireless Cable/DSL $49 after Rebate.

General Info on the subject here: Wireless What Should I Get (April, 2003 Edition)?

Just running a regular 11 Mbps wireless card but I did notice this tidbit of info (specs) from that link:

Data and network security with 64-bit,128-bit, or 256-bit WEP data encryption and MAC address authentication

256 bit WEP encryption? The most I've seen on wireless routers at this pricepoint was 40 bit. Am I being misled?
