In Vista, I'm trying to copy a 700MB image to a drive with 500MB capacity. Windows pops a message saying "I need an additional 238 MB to copy these files" crap, but doesn't give me an option to force the copy anyway. The folder on the 500MB drive is actually a symlink to a 500GB drive, so the copy doesn't actually have a space problem.

Anyone know how to turn this dialog box off?

Wow, I have no idea what a symlink is and I worked IT for two years! Would this work in XP anyway?

Basically the same idea as shortcuts in Windows, but much more powerful. NTFS since Win2K support symlinks, but only Vista can actually create them without 3rd party progs.
