I get this error message after repeated efforts to install 1803.

Don't seem to have any issues with the firewall as its on. Turning off firewall and Avira free version doesn't allow this update to be installed either. Malware Bytes provided a clean scan. Should I just sit tight as everything works perfectly, do a clean install or is there some fix I need to perform?

Windows 10 Home 64 bit all other updates in place. First real issue of any kind since purchased in 11/2018. Thanks in advance.

Tried using Win 10 update assistant. Downloaded update, installed update. On reboot it restored to the previous version I had before update. I don't keep nearly as current on these things as I once did. Same error message. I guess I will wait it out and see what develops.
 
A similar error was fixed by completely uninstalling & disconnecting any imaging devices, such as a web cam & a flatbed scanner. Simply disconnecting the devices was not sufficient.
