FearCombat won't run!

I have tried several installations, and it still won't work. What can I do?

There's a problem interfering with Kaspersky and a windows security update IIRC. Exit fully out of all antivirus and firewalls and then try again.

Maybe it's the Windows Update kernel that has to be removed? That was an old problem though, from the summer.

It runs jsut fine on my other computer, and I never ahd to remove any Windows kernal.

Maybe my video card isn't supported, since it is a fairly new card?

No; it's definitely supported... that's pretty strange. Are you sure something isn't blocking it?

To the best of my knowledge, everything that might interfere with the game is disabled. Tried with my antivirus and firewall off, as well as shutting down some uneeded processes, but I get the same error.
