FEAR with no EAX advanced HD?

the option is disabled for Advanced HD for FEAR in the options menu, but my card is an onboard soundblaster live 24-bit WITH advanced HD support. What do i need to do to get it to work? i have the lastest drivers from the creative site...

i think advanced HD is only for audigy series sound card

Ya you need hardware that can support it. I have an audigy 2 zs platinum. I still never use that crap in games. I wouldnt worry about it. Its not that great. 😛

Then you must have the bad speakers or never played games with eax3. The difference between eax2 and 3 is alot.
