apart the fact that only the rich gay has a plan if things go bad
the rest have no plan at all

going to desert yes there will be no infected
but you know there will be no food water or house to enter
what common sense?????

they killed how many people to try to rescue 3????
military personal with gun and vehicles that if alive could support them in the future

and alive soldiers are also good because they know where are the bases to get supplies

stupidity yes
common sense no

I see your point, he hasn't really told anyone else besides the junkie about the boat.

well not even the junkie he told him abigeil is in the west
and when they reach in his house he point abigeil with the telescope

until then abigeil could have been anything
a place? a woman??

they way he talks about crisis
when shit hits most people die because they do not know what to do

its interesting if they actually can make a good back story.

BUT THE REAL QUESTION
why he did not go to the boat in the first place and was arrested from the army????

city is in riot mode, you have the mentality to have a back up plan
and you do not follow it lol

everyone knows that in crisis you either be the first to go out or then you may not be able to go out

so its so funny

they make scenes because they look good
not that they make any sense put together

the woman got hurt and her clothes were perfect and she felt no pain
wow another perfect scene lol

why not say i just wanted to be sure that my kid is safe
take care of him
instead of this bullshit i did not realize i got injured lol

I like the rich guy in this series, I'm interested in his back story, something makes me think that he has something to do with the outbreak though, like he's a CEO of a biotech firm.

You know, it could just be he saw some zombies and believed what he saw. He's used to pressure, so the zombies, guards and other survivors (human behavior), are just variables he needs to account for to achieve his goal, which is survival.

But if I had to place a bet, I would think he was a real estate mogul, since he made that remark about gentrifying Nick's neighborhood if he had the chance.

AMC is having a Walking Dead marathon and I watched the first season episode set in the CDC in Atlanta last night. There is absolutely no contest in quality either from a writing, production or acting perspective. Fear TWD is a vastly inferior show. Last night really drove the point home for me.

Finally caught the finale -

"You might want to save your ammunition" hahahaha

I like Strand. He needs his own Ocean's 11 TV show for sure.

I didn't really start liking the head doctor lady until she opted to hang back with the patients after evac took off. I have a feeling we haven't seen the last of her.

WOW the dad pummeling the military guy they tortured. Finally some acting & emotion from his character!

Mean of them not to lock the gate when they left their neighborhood.

It's such a pity. Like when they killed off the ex-wife...it should have been a really emotional moment. Didn't care at all. Writing stinks. Wish it was better executed. Oh well.

I don't think well see the doctor woman again. She was basically non responsive to liza when they were trying to get out. Even the blonde mom said something to the effect that shes a lost cause. Them as they are leaving the doctor picks up the captive bolt gun again which made me think she was going to use it on herself.

Yeah she's probably used it on herself. That was my thought too. She dead.

I think that was the intent, but they made a point of highlighting her character, and she only picked up & stared at the bolt gun, but didn't lift it, which would have implied that she was going to do it in the scene after. Plus now that the ex-wife is gone, they're still going to need a doctor, and she also has military tie-ins. And I think she's something of a famous actor IRL, so I'd be surprised if they only used her for that little bit.

and of course they were the only ones that manage to get out.

we don't know that. we just don't see anyone else make it out.

also the people in the stadium all turned lol zombies eat you only way to transform is bitten and survive. so how all the people in the stadium were turned??

When you die you turn (unless your brain is damaged). They made it sound like things got out of control so they just locked everyone in there. So probably there was already infected people in there and they turned and too much panic or didn't know what to do and it got out of hand.

6. bad army again steal car when they were so many vehicles in the garage to take and even army vehicles outside check

there were people in the car (the kids), who had keys. they didn't have keys to the other cars...

8. plan stupider than suicide go to desert check going to desert??? to do what?? and in 1 2 days when they run out of water they will do what??

They said there was a cabin or something out in the desert. they aren't going to barren desert wasteland.

9. after many days of disaster the people are still as if nothing happened check

huh? who is acting like nothing happened? after several episodes in they know shit is going down. They're stuck in quarrantine with the army. wtf are they supposed to do?

see bold

Ya, that's what I thought. Hoping she didn't off herself and shows up later.

Just caught up thru cobalt episode 5? I still enjoy it the Army conspiracy is a bit over the top since its only been around 10 days. I also think its strange there are not many people or zombies around where did everyone go and why no massive traffic jams?
Overall I like it
I do predict something with the plane flying weird seemed to be an odd thing to show plus after that scene their neighbor gets home talking about driving because the planes were messed up.

also another statistic from usa
50% of army personal in the nuclear ballistic missile would not launch even if the country was under attack with nuclear missiles from russia

That stat is from an 80's film War Games(?) nuclear missiles are turned over to a computer because people are too un reliable. The computer learns it can't win a nuclear war by playing against itself in tic-tac-toe it decides just like the kids game there simply is no winning strategy.
I did learn on Discovery that until the late 70's the two man launch could easily be duped with a few feet of twice, a paperclip and a pen or pencil. All stuff that was in the control room at the time.

yes but that would mean
that the 2 have a fight and the 1 willing to launch overpower the other.

that you may launch it with 1 person not 2
does not change the fact that there will be 2 in the room

I think the fear was one man kills the second man. Kind of like what almost happened on that FedEx plan when a crewman or passenger(?) went nuts and almost killed the crew.
The show noted the panels were modified to prevent this its just an odd bit of information.

I'm glad this season is over. I hope they don't even renew it. Garbage. They killed off the only remotely attractive woman, Liza, so now they don't even have that going for them. Everything about the last episode sucked. The ten thousand zombies being followed by Salazar. How did he get in the gate? When they finally get out of the compound, all the zombies are dead. So I guess, the Army won? The interrogated soldier shoots Salazar's daughter....why? Then Travis goes off in a completely uncharacteristic violent roid rage on the soldier, there's nothing in his background that would lead you to believe that he would eventually crack. MAYBE, if he saw someone harm his family. But not some random girl he met briefly in a barber shop.

Fuck the writers and AMC for giving us this crap, riding on the coat tails of TWD.

They've already talked about the twist being this will be TWD but on water... So season two will be all about them trying to get to the boat/ship. It is an interesting spin, but they did so poorly on season one I'm not sure they can rescue it.

So far, the first episode of Season 2 has been better than the entire first season.

I'm impressed that they appear to be filming on a real boat. The crappy CGI shot at the end of last season was disturbing. I also hope their FX budget it higher so that point-blank unloading machine guns into zombies no longer result in no damage.

Those people better develop some type of survival instinct or this will be a short show. Except for Strand, this is a group of seriously slow witted people.

- Swimming out in the middle of the ocean
- Running down the radio batteries looking for a new boyfriend
- Leave every light on in the boat
- Almost get eaten trying to save a corpse
- Go exploring a capsized boat in the middle of a floating mass of zombies

For a survival show, most of these people on the boat are morons.

You don't pick up other passengers floating by.
You don't tell anyone on a open mic you have food and water, your situation.

It gets better. But the survivors are always stupid.

Can't believe I paid for the full season. Oh well was kinda worth it. Had nothing to watch then.

wow strand needs to kick all of them off the boat.
Seriously. Fuck Jack, his relatives, and whatever baskets of kittens he has on his boat. Except the stupid bitch talking to Jack already gave him enough info for him to find them. Nice work there dipshit.

I'm with Strand. Rule 1 - it's my boat, Rule 2 - it's MY boat, and if you had any questions about Rules 1 and 2, Rule 3 - it's MY goddamn boat.
