i'd SO play..if it didn't require me to uninstall a MS security patch to make the game NOT crash on load.. 🙁
although, while a bit unprotected for a while, that game was seriously fun... alas WTB game patch.
 
heh I played today on DM map, and from 1st ever game I was ownin lol (never played fear before) eheh counterstrike skills kicked in 😛
 
I'd play, but the geniuses who made it decided that the patches will only install on computers with label C:\ for Hard Drives. Long story why I don't have a C:\, my lettering starts at D then jumps to F. ~something got removed.

For some reason it starts out fast then trickles off to 6kb/s. That would take days. Maby Bittorrent?
 
Imp: I don't have a c:\ either and it worked...


wizboy: Bittorrent is what I used and it downloaded overnight.

Nightmare: check your e-mail, that's where it gets sent to (it was confusing for me too)

Is there something in FEAR were you can just put in the IP/Port like CS:S? Or do I have to look for the sever? (guess I can find it by name).
