FEAR for $29.90

GoGamer
Just look on their left side column. "Dirt Cheap" shipping got a bit more expensive, now at around $2.50 instead of previous $1.99.

Overall a good deal for that game.

Decent deal. They have had this special many times before since about a month after the game came out.

game is cheap, expect to pay out the nose for upgrading your computer. This thing is a HOG.

Depends on your standards. When the game came out I was running it just fine on an FX5900XT (at stock speeds). I just installed it and started playing - didn't even peek into settings. It ran fine and looked fine. Once you start obsessing about image quality and framerate, that's the cash lined road less traveled.

lol yes of course it's fine. I ran it on a 2.4Ghz Northwood with a 6800NU and it was fine-after I upgraded my RAM anyway.

You'll need at least 1GB of RAM for it to really even be playable or it'll stutter. Well, one time the demo ran without stuttering but after that it would always stutter no matter what I did. Then I read the minimum requirements for the demo and realized that I wasn't running what they wanted lol.

Runs fine with 1GB though so most Anandtechers should be OK haha.

Of course not, you'll need at least an Athlon 64 FX60 and a two 7900 GTX cards in SLI.

you forgot to mention 4gb of ram

Hmmm...I am running it with an AMD XP 2400+ (2Ghz), 1GB RAM, and a non-overclocked 6600GT AGP with 128MB Video RAM and it runs fine at 1024x768...no complaints here for a very enjoyable game...and the multiplayer is fun too.

Not that I recall. I always look at their emails and they've had it for the same price before, but not less IIRC.
