The monologue at the end is great-true HST there.

but of course, the bit about the perils of starting a serious drug collection, at the beginning. the words escape me, but it is awesome. it ends with ether..........................................................

When they're trippin on acid and see everyone as lizards and they're having sex. This movie is awesome.

I like the part when he gets the new car and talks about how it is unnecessarily complicated.

But the whole movie is great...

The best part is where the main character discovers that Jack the Ripper was actually associated with Freemasonry.

"There's uh... a woman fucking a polar bear."

"Don't tell me those things."

<later>

"They pay you to fuck that bear?"

"What!? What'd your friend say to me!?"

"He's drunk!"

One of the greatest of all time.

Is it a movie, or am I having a flashback?

We have two bags of grass, 75 pellets of mescaline, 5 sheets of high power blotter-acid, a salt shaker half full of cocaine. A whole galaxy of multicolored uppers downers, screamers, laughers. Also a quart of tequila, quart of rum, case of beer, pint of raw ether and 2 dozen amyls. But once you get locked in to a serious drug collection, not that we need it at all for the trip, the tendency is to push it as far as you can.

The box cover
The most recognizable box I think. Always remember seeing it in the video store when I was little and thought it was the funniest box.

The end. It was one of the few movies that I wasn't able to watch all the way through. And I really wanted to enjoy it, too :(
