When I try do delete the primary dos partition, it says "Could not change partitions, because the disk could not be locked." ...I want nothing on my computer, fresh start...and now it says I can't even delete this stuff? What do I do?

WHy don't you just format it??

Do you have any other drive other than your primary DOS partition. If I'm not wrong. You cannot delete the primary without deleting the extended.

Sounds like you might have a NON DOS partion that is still active.

Did you have NTFS or Linux on this drive?

How about one of those BIOS overlays?
