Fdisk on my harddrive

Ok, my question is simple guys. If I Fdisk my harddrive will this delete my current bios?

I am asking becauase I am getting a AMD barebones system and I am going to be putting my old harddriveon this system and my old system is Intel and top of that it is a Dell.

I read what kind trouble some other guy had when he tried to make a ghost copy of his old drive to his new harddrive and it wouldn't boot. So I want to make double sure it will get rid of my old bios.

Thanks guys!😱

The BIOS is stored in a flash ROM on your motherboard and has nothing to do with your hard drive. If you re-format and partition the old drive, it will be wiped clean and good as new.
