I am using XP Pro.

How do I fdisk a new second hard drive to create two volumes? Fdisk says "wrong version".

Then, how do I format drives in XP?

It's all new and weird!

 
You want Disk Management. Ctrl Panel/Administrative Tools/Computer Management/Storage/Disk Management. FDisk is no more.
