I just wanted to post this information because it may me useful to someone. I tried to find it posted here via search but I did not see it mentioned anywhere. So, if it has already been mentioned then I apologize!
So here goes------------------------------------------------------!
I just tried to run fdisk on a Abit VP6 raid 0 setup. I am installing Windows 98 1st Edition(2nd Edition to be added afterwards via upgrade disk from Microsoft). I came across a problem after creating the raid 0 setup. I ran fdisk only to find out that it would recognize 64mb less than my 90gb total capacity(2 IBM 75GXP's 45bg ATA100-What else? Right!) Fdisk would only show 22gb total. So I thought, "What have I done wrong?" Well after searching this forum and that forum and Google I came across this link to Microsoft!
This problem has been fixed with a fdisk.exe update. After downloading this update and copying it to my startup disk the drives were recognized correctly!! I know someone is having a similar problem so I just want to give them some data to help clear up the problem.
