I am having trouble reformatting and fdisking my 120gb western digital drive it was originally setup as a ntfs 120gb partition I wanted to use this drive as a fat32 drive instead so using fdisk i deleted the ntfs partion and ran fdisk to create a new fat32 partion but fdisk seems to only see it as a 44gb drive instead of the whole 120gb's can anyone help ?

microsoft has a later fdisk that is for >64GB <127 GB drives. you go to their site d/l it and cut and paste it into your
boot disk. (taking out the old)

If all you want is one large partition just specify 100% when it asks for size and it will work fine. FDisk sees the whole drive it's just reports it to you incorrectly.
