FD Trinitron list

I have a customer who wants a sony trinitron monitor, pref. flat screen. Is there a listing of current models anywhere? Also, considering other brand names use trinitron tubes, is there a listing of ALL trinitron monitors?

You can bet that if it is a trinitron monitor that it will be called a .....tron of somekind. This is what I go by when looking for a trinitron tube also most companies will tell you that it is a trinitron as that is a selling point🙂

As to other manufacturers, i dont know if there is a list, but i know the following use them - iiyama, ADi, Compaq, CTX, and i think KDS. There are probably others, but those are the ones that come to mind.

Personally i reccomend the CTX (i have the 19" And it rocks), but if its someone elses money then id go for top of the line iiyama if he will go for it, or if not the best sony he will pay for

Probably the lowest priced trinitron monitors are KDS you can find there imformation at www.kdsusa.com. They appear to be good as do all trinitron based monitors. Almost all companies make a line with a trinitron tube in it after all Sony is the largest tube manufacturer in the world.
