I'm looking to run FCPGA's mounted on Abit Slocket !!!'s in a Asus P2B-D, mobo link. As you can see, there isn't much space between the processor slots. Two Slot1 Gorbs mounted on a couple Slot1 CPU's fit fine (~5mm to spare).
Will FCPGA gorbs mounted on slocketed CPU's fit as well?
Are there any other suggestion for HS/F's in this configuaration?
I know low profile Gorbs will definitely work. Anyone know how well these perform?
