FCPGA and FCPGA2, compatible?

It seems my MB has become a serious bottleneck. In any case, I have an ASUS CUBX that I am looking to just drop in a new processor. I would like a Gigahertz processor but the Pentium at 1gig on a 100 fsb seems unlikely, so I was wondering if the celeron 1.0A would be compatible, but it says that it is a FCPGA2 processor. Does this mean I have no chance at a Gigahertz upgrade unless I drop the MB?

Nope, FCPGA2 CPUs cannot be used in FCPGA sockets directly.

You either need a adapter from Powerleap (mucho expensive) or mod your board. I am not sure of how to mod it but I was told it can be done.
