These " family advocacy" groups need to realize the facts. What difference is hearing the f word on tv from hearing it from a friend or classmate?

Whisper? Not always. Face it parents, your kid is going to hear the words one way or another and they will most likely eventually use them.Originally posted by: rudeguy

if they hear it from a classmate, its in the form of a whisper or on the playground. They know its wrong to say. If they start hearing it all over, they will think its ok to say.

It is ok to say; in casual settings amongst people you know, for most people.
For me, it rarely ever bothers me to hear it.
In a ruling last month, the commission effectively approved the word's use at any hour, except in sexual situations.
It's all just a matter of time before they are surrounded by it. Parents should be the role model, not tv.Quote

I call them neo-conservatives. Conservatives today are but a mere shadow of the men of the past.thats the parents job, not the fcc's, its funny that most of these people are conservitatives who want smaller government but when it comes to social issues they want to run your life and tell you how to live it.
